My message to you

  • from the heart...

    This campaign isn’t about red or blue, or who can collect the most political favors, endorsements, or photo ops. It’s not about who knows the most insiders or who can stage the best image.

    It’s about right and wrong — about who is truly qualified to do the work for the people of District 8.

    Qualifications aren’t slogans. They’re built on facts, education, street smarts, real business experience, and a genuine ability to listen to and connect with the community you hope to represent.

    This is not a popularity contest; it’s a hiring decision for one of the most important jobs in our city.

    We must look beyond personalities and focus on the core issues facing District 8 — housing, safety, infrastructure, environmental health, and the future of our children.

    My campaign is driven by those real issues, not by politics as usual. I will fight aggressively to secure District 8’s fair share of resources so that our families, friends, and children can live safer, healthier, and more dignified lives right here at home.

AFFORDABLE

Housing 

I’ll advocate for fair rent stabilization to protect working families, seniors, and veterans.  I’ll expand affordable housing development to ensure every resident can live with dignity — not fear of displacement. Also, I’ll support pathways to homeownership and neighborhood stability.

Children’s 

Education & Safety.

As a father and grandfather, I take our children’s safety personally. No family should ever be kept in the dark when something goes wrong at their school.

I will demand full accountability from school officials when safety or misconduct issues arise, and ensure parents are informed and students are protected at all times.

I will always advocate for safe, transparent, and well-resourced learning environments—because every child in District 8 deserves nothing less. 

HOMELESSNESS

I’ll pursue compassionate, results-driven strategies — not politics. Increase access to transitional housing, mental-health care, and job training. Strengthen partnerships with nonprofits and community organizations to help people rebuild their lives.

I’ll demand federal and binational accountability to stop cross-border sewage contamination. Secure emergency infrastructure funding to repair and modernize treatment systems. Protect South Bay families and ecosystems from decades of environmental neglect.

PUBLIC Safety

SUPPORT THE BLUE

I’ll support community-based policing that builds trust between residents and officers. Stand with law enforcement while ensuring transparency, accountability, and integrity. Promote safer streets, schools, and neighborhoods across District 8. 

Transit & Neighborhood

Revitalization  

I’ll modernize public transit systems connecting San Ysidro, Otay Mesa, and Barrio Logan. I’ll improve sidewalks, lighting, and crosswalks to make neighborhoods safer and walkable. I’ll revitalize business corridors and create local jobs that serve the residents of District 8.

Environmental

Health

Prioritize clean air, clean water, and green spaces for every neighborhood. Push for stronger environmental regulations in underserved and border communities. Collaborate with local and regional agencies to mitigate industrial pollution.
